Welcome to my new blog! I've always enjoyed new beginnings and I'm very excited about moving over to this new blog, People To People Service. Please pardon the "dust" as I just created this blog last minute and wanted to get this post up today! I should have this more professional looking by the end of the week.
For those of you who don't know me, I used to blog over at CustomersAreAlways.com. That is, until today when I tried to log into my blog and was having technical issues when attempting to write this post. Since Know More Media closed it doors in August, I have had no technical support with CustomersAreAlways. I figured that a new blog was due anyways...So here we are!
For those of you who submitted an article thinking it was going to be posted at CustomersAreAlways, I do sincerely apologize...
All that said, let's get on with the fun! I'm kicking off this blog with the latest edition of the Customer Service Carnivale!
Customer Service Tips
Since many of you work in the retail industry, I thought I'd share this article first being that we're right in the middle of busy gift season: Top Ten Ways Retailers Can Sell More This Holiday Season posted over at Amazing Service Guy.
I love this post, Customer Service Is Not a Debate posted over at Service Untitled. There's never a "feel-good" moment when you feel the need to argue with a customer.
Do you consider yourself a doctor of selling? If not, I recommend reading Danielle Branch's post, Building Rapport in 3 Easy Steps, posted at The Sales Fairy.
Louis Burns presents Crafting Mental Movies For Others posted at NLP Marketing Blog, saying, "This article is about not only visualizing your own goals but the experience you want other people to have as well."
This is a great article to keep in mind when communicating issues and problems with customers: Product Fulfillment: Issues and Resolution posted at Social Marketing by Michelle MacPhearson.
Ralph Jean-Paul presents How To Become a People Person posted at Potential 2 Success, saying, "All things being equal people will do business with people they like. All things not being equal, they still will. Learn to become a people person and become better in relationship, leadership, and influence in every part of business and life."
Customer Service Tools
Jimson Lee shares How to Save Money on International Conference Calls and Web Presentations posted over at CRM Help Desk Software.
Scott Mahler presents Make Your Website Work For You Not Against You, where he says, "By integrating software that allows your business to extract and organize pertinent data, you can save time, improve efficiency and facilitate easier employee communication."
Customer Service Stories
Banquet Manager That's Me has an interesting rant to share: Wadda Mean It's Raining in The Meeting Room? posted at So You Want To Be a Banquet Manager....
This story will definitely get you revved up - especially if you've been jerked around by U-Haul! I Hate U-Haul Truck Rental (And So Does Everyone Else) posted at Blueprint for Financial Prosperity.
Thank you, everyone, for reading! I wish you a very happy holiday season! Remember to re-subscribe to this new blog as I will no longer be posting at CustomersAreAlways.com.
