Balloons on Flickr by CrystlNational Customer Service Week is going on...What are you doing to celebrate? What are you doing to appreciate your customers?

Here are some ideas from fellow bloggers:

If you're on Twitter and want to share how your company is celebrating Customer Service Week, use #csweek or #customerservice so people can find your tweets.

Also, check out the official Customer Service Week source for information and resources.

Happy celebrating!

P.S. Although CS Week ends on October 9th, I think it's a good idea to continue the celebration throughout the whole year!

I agree with you Maria! Every day should be customer service day, and you should ALWAYS focus on your customers.

I have a managing director in my firm that's been working at our firm for 42 years. When I first started, I was way excited to be the Customer Service Week chairperson, and I enthusiastically called him, thinking if ANYONE would get customer service, it would be him. His team provides the greatest service in our entire firm, and everyone knows his name is synonymous with great service.

When I called and asked him to participate, he actually yelled at me and said "Philip, I am NOT doing Customer Service Week for you. It's horse puckey that we have a WEEK dedicated to customer service. EVERY DAY is customer service day!"

I've never forgotten that. Every day is customer service day!

Thanks for the ideas, Maria! Yes, always looking for ways to celebrate the customer, but this week in particular of course. We'll be Tweeting daily tips and articles with #csweek this week. And I put up a humble list of customer service links from the week: http://spoken.typepad.com/spoken/2009/10/top-5-customer-service-links-for-10409.html
